History:

Global Relief & Development Mission (Global Relief) started as a result of eight years of short-term Mission trips to rural communities in Northern Nigeria and needy African Countries like Niger, Mali, Chad, Cameroon, Burkina-Faso etc. In 2004, due to the enormous challenges of poverty & hunger in these fields, & the need for a more holistic Mission approach, it became organized as a Christian Development and Relief Mission and named Project Mobilization. In the cause of registration with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) of Nigeria in 2005, it was renamed Global Relief & Development Mission and became committed to:
1.Providing emergency relief to poor families in Northern Nigeria, Sub-Saharan Africa and beyond.
2.Working with poor communities in tackling problems of poverty, food shortages, disease, conflicts and environmental disasters etc through community based development programs.
3.Working at discipling and developing people in such communities.
