Global Relief accepts both national and international
volunteers for both short and long term work.

There are two categories of international volunteers;
Regular and Project volunteers.

International Regular volunteers are volunteers
who come to provide a service to Global Relief from around the world.
They may be skilled in a profession (microbiology, medical, environment,
geology, etc.). They are also required to work full-time, according
to the itinerary provided by Global Relief and are involved in several
projects, and Global Relief’s integrated programs

International Project Volunteers are volunteers
who donate their time and skills to a specific project from around
the world (they may be involved in the food and medical relief project
– GAP I or the water and water borne diseases project, GAP
II or any other project.). They may also be skilled in a profession
(microbiology, medical, environment, geology, law, etc.) or seeking
to learn and grow in global development.

Both regular and project international volunteers
have options of a short or long term duration. A short-term duration
is a minimum of one month while a long term is a minimum of six
months.

National volunteers also include two categories
of regular and project volunteers.

National volunteers also have a second option
of serving either full time or part time.

Full time national regular or project volunteers
are expected to commit up to twelve hours (12) per week in Global
Relief office (s).

Part time regular or project volunteers may
already have a paid employment elsewhere and are expected to donate
their time and skill based on agreed availability. They are required
to present a proposed plan of availability suitable to their peculiar
employments.
